Bible Verse
Matthew 5:14
You are the light of the world.
Reflection
Jesus described His followers as the light of the world. Light does not draw attention to itself. Its purpose is to reveal what would otherwise remain hidden. Likewise, Christians are not called to make themselves famous. We are called to make Christ known. The light we possess is not our own goodness. It is the life of Christ shining through transformed lives.
• A kind word.
• An honest decision.
• A forgiving spirit.
• A gracious response.
These ordinary acts often become powerful testimonies to the gospel. The darker the world becomes, the more noticeable even a small light appears. Never underestimate how God can use your faithful witness. Someone may never read a Bible before reading your life.
• May they see Christ in you.
Practical Application
- Look for one opportunity today to speak about Christ.
- Let your actions match your words.
- Pray for boldness to share your faith.
- Show kindness where it is least expected.
- Remember that every believer represents Christ.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for calling me to reflect Your light in this world. Help my words, attitudes, and actions point others to You. May my life bring glory to Your name and encourage others to seek You. Amen.
